Strange times lead us to do some stranger things But if you like it please join in Don't touch that dial awhile and take a seat Sit back, relax, and let's begin

Nevertheless you're in distress he'll come and save you And whisk you away to a safer place Couldn't have guessed I'd have to follow such a class act Tall, dark, and superman he raised the stakes But his signal in the sky is a silhouette Of the girl he used to love who's now his pet And you feel though he is gone you owe a debt 'Cause he blessed you with his sparse companionship At the end of the day You cut it so close and you used every bit you had Now he's flying away The savior of saviors, tried to steal your last laugh But now I'm here and though I may not be able to hurdle the stars for you Well I'd jump through a hoop so you could move on Every hero should choose love before his city And darling it's a pity that he chose his town As for me I don't hold his responsibility So we can watch his city burn down And I'll hold you as the buildings fall apart It may be cruel but really it was all his fault 'Cause it's you he should have cared for from the start Can you blame me I'm a villain with a heart Before the break of the day Start cutting the ties before you lose every bit you have Now he's shying away A stranger of strangers, tried to steal your last laugh But now I'm here and I wont give you up to a sheep dressed in wolf's clothing He's yesterday's headline but today I love you There comes a time where everybody makes a choice To be the hero vigilante If stealing you is wrong then I'm a crooked thief and I don't want to be right No I don't want to be right No I don't want to be right But at the end of the day You cut it so close and you used every bit you had (Now you're using mine) Now he's flying away The savior of saviors, your superman's come and past (At the speed of light) But now I'm here and though I may not be able to hurdle the stars for you Well I'd jump through a hoop so you could move on too

Derby Girl 06:38
You, you never would've known That you were breaking by yourself When there was no one else to love And maybe you'll just sit and smile when I sing this song for you Oh I hope you do, yeah I hope you do But I, I'd rather be alone I'd rather keep this to myself I'd rather never let you know "Cause baby I can't waste my time by counting little details Of how I loved you so, and how you still said no But oh I left it all unsaid And now these words stay wrapped around my neck "Cause I know you won't believe Believe me when I say you're all I need So tell me I was wrong to think that things were oh so lovely 'Cause I could never find the words to say how much you meant to me But either way, yeah, I thought you were happy Darling don't you know that I can see the worry in your eyes And how am I supposed to feel when you cant make up your mind Your appetite for sympathy's too much for me to take 'Cause there's not a thing that I could do if these choices aren't for me to make Oh no, you still want me to stay Yeah, but I still won't make the grade I was on my roller skates But derby girl was still too quick for me So why'd you have to walk away and leave me to your misery 'Cause now there's nothing left for me to say and I'm sorry For all the times that I thought you could save me We were fine 'til I asked if you'd be alright For a song and a dance at prom except I Should've known that you would rather think twice Oh, for a guy like me Oh Harley Maybe someday you'll discover that this songs for for you But you'll run, you'll run away Oh I never should have fallen for you 'Cause I could never write a song to make you fall in love with me And if misery's the only thing that's keeping us together Then it might not last forever Yeah it might not last forever No it might not last forever
4.
Hidden friend where have you gone I've waited here all night for far too long What about the times you opened up to me Did it feel nice, did it feel bad, did it feel freeing Hidden friend you don't have to shroud it I can see right through to you even when the skies are clouded If you've got the time to circle round again I could make it worth your while, I could be your friend But I guess it's just the curse of the sun to burn all those who get too close and not to have to much fun I don't believe that at all The light you given unto earth is irreplaceable I can't help but try to get closer to your flame I wanna see you be happy and not implode under your artistic weight How can I even get a little bit close when your ninety-three million miles away from me Hidden friend it's as clear as day The sun has shone and all the clouds gave way and If you have to go well I would understand And I would wait all night once more for you to rise again I wanna see you be happy and not implode under your artistic weight, How can I even get a little bit close when your ninety-three million miles away. I wanna see you be happy and not implode under your artistic weight, How can I even get a little bit close when your ninety-three million miles away. Ninety-three million miles away Ninety-three million miles away When you're ninety-three million miles away from me Hidden friend I will make you see You can hide from life But you can't hide from me

Fall Forever 04:22
Never thought that we would fall in love inside a fairytale Never thought that we would make it out alive 'Cause when the walls close in and everything is bound to fail There's one thing I gotta say to you if this is our last goodbye Oh, tell me if you want to fall forever In love with me Now we're further down the road far from another universe Working temporary jobs from time to time And if our fates align, oh maybe we could work with this With powers combined we'll make it on our own Fighting all through the night We'll play our favorite shows in a galaxy far away And watch our friendship grow a little more each day If you tell me that you want to fall forever in love with me We will never have to stop our grand adventure across the galaxy Tell me that you want to fall forever Leave this world behind and we could have it all Just promise you'll say I do My darling don't go 'cause we've nothing left to lose when happiness is on its way to you So darling tell me that you want to fall forever in love with me We will never have to stop our grand adventure across the galaxy So come along with me.

Low 03:48
Open curtain on a creature made of gamma Walking out of an ocean panorama President calls the men dressed in camouflage Charlotte walks to the window of her office Sparks fly eyes meet amongst the ruckus Within a fist Charlotte's taken from her cubicle While some may say she's a monster Oh love, by any other name Love She wants to feel loved Satellite sends fire their direction Touches down and causes a deflection Ricochet destroys the monster's bride And now he's crashing through the streets of the town Throwing cars ripping piping from the ground And he swears the world will meet demise Well, some may say he's a monster Oh love, by any other name Low He wants to be low Low He wants to be low
7.
Drown Happy 05:08
Caught forever on the inside looking out, out at you, if only I could find a way to- Talk of ethical dilemmas, reverberating words once mine but even my echo don't come back most of the time A little bit of jealousy can go a long way to turn a little creature to a man But a little bit of loneliness can go further still I drown happy in your hands Lost forever on the inside looking out through a foreign view, but at least this way I get to be with you Just a little bit if loneliness can go a long way to turn a little creature to a man But a little bit of jealousy can go further still I drown happy in your hands
8.
Long Overdue 05:08
I knew you'd leave me someday For some other love but that's okay Cause you gave yourself a black heart From wishing upon a dying star And if you feel you're unsure Find love that'll make you feel secure So when you wear your blue mood He'll hold you tight and say "I love you" And he'll say it again He'll say it all of the time If he's your kind of man So if you think of old days Think back when I changed your bitter ways 'Cause you had your secrets to keep From all of your friends but not from me Well as for me I'm alright Still filling the page you've left behind So if I sign my own name I'm hoping it's not too late for me to say The words that I should've said, yeah The day that you couldn't find The words inside of my head I said it all in my mind But not to you in the end I saw the ending with you We were so happy in it too You waited long for that day But not long enough for me to say That you were so wrong To think that I didn't care So here's to our love long gone Falling in love just fell through Our book of love was overdue And so my life has come to That you weren't for me nor I for you
9.
Marceline 02:15
Marceline watches the sun as it rises, her irises shrinking along with her love Filling the footsteps as Lucifer's daughter, but Hell nor high water could keep us apart Marceline's writing her vampire diary, her dowry consists of five quarts of my blood Fulfilling her quota of souls led awry, I've got no choice but to give my own to the cause Lucifer's daughter Aging me quickly this daft paranoia, I've got no way to tell where or when she will strike Taking my chances with Lucifer's daughter, I'm arming myself with a rose and a pike Lucifer's daughter Oh the humanity, oh what a scene I lose my sanity, in the pursuit of Marceline
10.
Two Moons 03:08
Is the starlight keeping you awake I'd give you my dark but there's no more to take You take it all from me I've got no more to give Are there two moons in your sky No I wont orbit round you with another guy No I won't share you No more The way you learned it was the moon walked on the man I am trying to understand
11.
Lucid Dream 04:46
Like smoke billows from a gentleman's pipe you're the stereotype of a man on fire Gasping for water to put out the fire to outfight with smoldering eyes out of luck out of time Stuck between the vertebrae in your spine is a vertical line of electrical wire Pulsating two-thousand watts through the veins of the one who's got lightning eyes he's the one you admire Every infraction doesn't make you a saint and every grass stain still don't make you quaint make the same mistake Ghost a poltergeist disguised in the night there's no trying to hide even though you still might Dying for someone to laugh with to laugh as you die with you can't compromise though the muck and the mire And though a mirror is what's thinning you frail it's the salt to your snail and the drain in your pond Reflections shot with a slug can't control all the love that you have for yourself around bodies of water And every infraction doesn't make you a saint and every grass stain still don't make you quaint make the same mistake that you've made one-thousand times before Make the same mistake But I've tried, lord I've tried to tell you, but I just can't make you see Wake yourself up from this lucid dream Wash your eyes of all this kerosine Think of all the things you'll never be
12.
I wished upon a shooting star to pardon me from death, the words pronounced in passing uttered underneath my breath, all that's worth a life must turn to bone but I was young and feared the great unknown So I lived until a ripe old age then lived and lived some more, found a mate to share the weight had children by the score, outlasted every soul I'd ever met try to pass the time with love but soon forget A thousand failed suicides attract the public eye, scientists from all around would prod and poke and pry, tried to take a gift they can't define, but endless life is not a gift of mine So I went into seclusion just as soon as I could make it free, I walked across this hateful land and floated out to sea, lost remaining hope of my rebirth, apricity she came to me as the sun engulfed what was left of the earth Deep inside the fire's grasp I lost my sense of sight Space it closed around me then bitter black devoid of light But I could see the shooting stars and mustered up the words I opened up my lips to speak but had no air to end this living curse So I watched as one by one all the lights they flickered dim, and eventually they all went out leaving nothing where they'd been I wished upon a shooting star to excuse me from my death, I'd wish for it to end somehow but now there're no stars left
13.
Adastra 07:26
Honey can you hear me Promise me that you're not far away Nothing sounds more lovely Than hearing the voice of someone you love from miles away Can you hear me darling Gravity says that love isn't fair Won't you please forgive me For all the times I should've been there Oh, with you But I swear Oh I swear I'll be there All of this time I should've known That you'd rather leave me alone Darling I know, this isn't right, I need to find my way back home 'Cause how could I ever be so naive To forget, my love how you've tamed my heart, you see Oh my love, I knew that you had to leave So instead, just try to be happy for me 'Cause simpletons simply get too old When matters of consequences grow I'm lucky to've loved this common rose For mine is unique in all the world I still love you I still want you to Know I do, I want you to know Know I love you, oh my darling come home Know that I love you, darling I'm on my way home I've traveled far I've left you alone But darling I'm on my way back home Darling don't go Wait I feel so cold Oh Divine, they don't see with their heart They forget, forget how to love and make believe They'll never see the stars for what they are A testament for our hopes and dreams 'Cause simpletons simply get too old When matters of consequences grow If ever you wonder where I go (ab ovo, I will roam) Look up to the stars (ad astra, the stars) and you'll know
14.
If there comes a day when the gods will lay waste to earth and to man We break to the sky and set out to find hospitable land We'd leave all the memories old Bring only what we could hold So I would hold you through the hell and high water until you could stand On your own If there comes a time when both man and divine could mend the scars They'd go home and leave us to fend for ourselves on distant stars But I'd never feel so alone With you in my sky looking on We'd skip rocks for hours off moon beams and showers until they could find Find a home Winter clothes tied up around you And summer clothes left and abandoned just waiting for the warmth of a marigold sun Winter clothes hung on a flagpole And summer's coat worn down to shambles and nobody knows the fair weather girl like I do, yes it's true, I know you I know you Winter clothes tied up around you And summer clothes left and abandoned just waiting for the warmth of a marigold sun Winter clothes hung on a flagpole And summer clothes worn down to shambles and nobody knows the fair weather girl like I do, like I do, like I do Oh, I do

about

Warpstar Tucson, Arizona

In 2011, three guys formed a band and played a handful of shows, then hid in a cave in the middle of the desert for five years. When they came out they released their debut album in 2016. This is the story of that band.
